This is the approved The Fanlistings Network fanlisting for Squall Leonhart, the main protagonist from the Squaresoft (Square Enix) video game RPG Final Fantasy VIII. This site also covers Squall's incarnation as Leon from the Kingdom Hearts video games and is the Anime Fanlistings Network listed fanlisting for Leon from the Kingdom Hearts manga.

Squall is my favorite male character from the Final Fantasy series. I was initially drawn to him because of the similarities in our personalities. Although I adore several happy and hyper characters, I found Squall's apathetic, anti-social personality more believable- he was a character I could relate to. However, I also love watching him as he undergoes changes throughout the game- he learns to care for others as he becomes an unexpected leader, someone whom everyone else looks up to.

This site was opened on January 01, 2005. It is named after Squall's Limit Break. The current layout (version one) features two images of Squall and uses the fonts Beautiful ES and Arial Black. It was designed in Paint Shop Pro 9, was handcoded into HTML in Editpad, and is W3C XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant. The members script is powered by Enthusiast.
